Stretching Light

Role: Conception, design, fabrication and installation.

Stretching Light was generated from the motion capture of less than a second of a dancers movement. The para-metrically designed tensile structure was constructed from aluminum tube held in tension with steel cable and rod. Electro-luminescent wire was woven through the frame. The piece was installed as part of LUX 2017.
